Roofing in Spring
North Houston's established neighborhoods are due for new roofs — and we're here for it.
Spring sits in north Houston, up toward the Harris–Montgomery county line and the Klein area — and yes, it's a different place from Spring Branch out in west Houston. The neighborhoods here range from established 1970s-through-90s subdivisions, whose roofs are now well into replacement age, to newer development still on its first roof. We help Spring homeowners across all of it: full-system replacement, honest repair, and storm-damage claims, backed by a 10-year workmanship warranty.
Spring, not Spring Branch
It's worth saying plainly, because people mix them up: the Spring we're talking about is north of Houston — around Klein, Gleannloch, and the I-45/Grand Parkway corridor — not the Spring Branch neighborhood in west Houston. We serve both, but this page is about north Houston's Spring. If you're out west, our Spring Branch page is the one you want.
Established neighborhoods, aging roofs
A lot of Spring was built out in the 1970s, '80s, and '90s, which means a great many roofs here are at or past the end of their service life. In Houston's heat, a builder-grade asphalt roof of that age usually shows it:
- Granule loss and bald, worn shingles — grit collecting in the gutters.
- Curling, cracking, or brittle shingles that no longer lie flat.
- Lost seal — shingles that lift in the wind or have already blown off.
- Repeated leaks around flashing, vents, and valleys.
If that's your roof, the smart move is a real look now — so you replace on your schedule, not in the rain after the next storm.
HOAs and approvals in Spring
Spring is a mix: some neighborhoods have an HOA that requires architectural approval before you change roof material or color, and some don't. Where yours does, we make it easy — we provide the product specs and color the review needs (for example, GAF Timberline HDZ in an approved shade). We don't file the paperwork or guarantee a board's decision, but we'll set you up to clear it cleanly.
Storm and hail damage
North Houston gets the same Gulf Coast wind and spring hail as the rest of the metro. After a storm we inspect — often drone-assisted — and document the wind and hail damage an adjuster needs to see. If it's a covered claim, we stand with you through it. The coverage decision is always your insurer's; documenting the damage accurately and writing a complete scope is ours.
If a storm just hit Spring, get a documented inspection before the trail goes cold.
A complete system, built to last
When a Spring roof is past repair, we replace the whole system — GAF Timberline HDZ shingles, sealed flashing and penetrations, and balanced ventilation — not just the shingle that wore out. That's what makes the new roof outlast the old one, and it's what our 10-year workmanship warranty stands on.

Questions, answered
Common questions
Is Spring the same as Spring Branch?
No — they're two different places. Spring is in north Houston near the Harris–Montgomery county line and the Klein area; Spring Branch is a neighborhood in west Houston. We serve both, but this page covers north Houston's Spring.
My Spring home is from the '80s or '90s — is my roof due?
Quite possibly. A builder-grade asphalt roof of that age in Houston's heat is usually at or past the end of its life. The honest answer comes from a real inspection — we'll tell you straight whether you need a roof now or have good years left.
Does my Spring neighborhood require HOA approval for a new roof?
It depends on your neighborhood — some have an HOA that requires architectural approval for a change in roof material or color, and some don't. Where yours does, we provide the specs and color the review needs; we don't file the paperwork or guarantee the board's decision.
A storm came through — do I have a claim?
Maybe. Wind and hail are often covered perils in Texas. The way to know is a documented inspection: we look for the signs an adjuster checks and tell you honestly whether it's worth filing. The coverage call is your insurer's.
