Before & After

The same roof, before and after.

A Katy home whose builder-grade roof had reached the end of its life — streaked, bald, and past sealing. Drag the handle to compare it with the complete GAF Timberline HDZ system that replaced it.

Tear-off to finish

Five roofs, start to finish

Most roofing photos only show the last day. These show the whole job — because the layers that go on first are the reason the roof lasts.

Riverside — Tear-Off to Finish

One roof, start to finish: stripped to the deck, dried in with FeltBuster underlayment, shingled, verified from the air, and photographed from the sidewalk. This is what “deck-up, in layers” means.

Cypress — Deck-Up Rebuild

From bare plywood to the finished aerial: decking checked, layers installed in order, and straight courses you can see from the street — or the drone.

Cypress — Dry-In, Step by Step

The stage most homeowners never see: valleys and rakes sealed, synthetic underlayment rolled across the deck, bundles staged, and the first courses going down at the eave.

Cypress, mid-install: underlayment across the open field, and the dormer valleys and rakes sealed separately before the decking beside them gets covered. Valleys move the most water on a roof, so they get their own waterproofing.

Bellaire — Full Crew, Documented From Above

A full crew working courses up over FeltBuster underlayment, then the same roof signed off from two drone angles.

Spring Branch — Deck-Up in Brown

Down to bare plywood, then back up as a complete system — photographed from the lawn and from the air.
