Roof leaking? Let's stop the water first.
A roof emergency doesn't wait for a convenient time — so neither do we. Call or text (346) 276-6492 any hour, day or night, with what's happening. Photos help. We answer, we come out, and we get the water stopped, the damage documented, and the real fix scoped.

If your roof is leaking right now, do these five things
Before any roofer arrives, the next ten minutes are about limiting the damage inside your home:
- Move what matters. Get furniture, electronics, and anything irreplaceable out from under the leak.
- Catch the water. Buckets, trash cans, towels — and a tarp or plastic sheet over what can't be moved.
- If the ceiling is bulging, relieve it. A small hole poked at the center of a sagging, water-filled ceiling bubble lets the water drain into your bucket instead of bringing the whole section down.
- Photograph everything. The ceiling, the water, the damaged belongings, and — from the ground — the roof. Time-stamped photos are the start of your insurance documentation.
- Stay off the roof. A wet roof in bad weather is how homeowners get hurt. The roof is our job.
Then call or text (346) 276-6492. Send photos of what you're seeing — it helps us show up with the right materials the first time.
Emergency tarping and dry-in: stopping the damage
The first visit in a roof emergency usually isn't the permanent fix — it's making sure the damage stops getting worse. We tarp or dry-in the damaged section properly: secured, sealed, and able to ride out the next round of weather, not a loose sheet of plastic that blows off by Thursday.
Just as important: while we're up there, we document everything we find — overview shots, close-ups of the damage, and the surrounding roof condition. That order matters. Damage documented before cleanup and repairs is exactly what your insurance adjuster needs to see, and it's much harder to reconstruct after the fact.
Will insurance pay for emergency repairs?
Texas homeowners policies generally require you to take reasonable steps to prevent further damage after a covered loss — it's often called the duty to mitigate. Reasonable temporary measures like emergency tarping are typically part of a storm claim for exactly that reason. Keep your receipts and your photos.
Two honest caveats. First, coverage decisions are always your insurer's, not ours — what we control is doing the temporary work properly and documenting the damage thoroughly. Second, a tarp doesn't commit you to anything: you can have us stop the water and still take your time on the bigger decision.
If the leak traces back to a storm, you may have a claim worth filing. Our guide to whether you have a claim and the step-by-step Texas filing process walk through exactly how that works — and it's the part of roofing we specialize in.

Do you have a claim? After the tarp: fixing it for real
A tarp buys time; it isn't a roof. Once the water is stopped, we scope the permanent fix honestly. Sometimes that's a targeted repair — a pipe boot, a run of flashing, a section of shingles — and we'll say so. Sometimes the leak is the symptom of a roof that's done, and patching it again is throwing money at a roof that will leak somewhere else next storm. Either way, you get a straight answer and a clear price before any work starts.
If it's a repair, our roof repair page covers how we diagnose and fix leaks at the source. If the damage came from wind or hail, our storm and hail damage page covers the full insurance-restoration path — inspection, documentation, the adjuster meeting, and a complete-system replacement if the claim supports one.
When we can get to you: any hour
We answer the phone 24/7, and for an active leak we come out — night, Sunday, holidays. Not an answering service that takes a message and calls you back Monday. A real person, and then a truck.
That's the part most Houston roofers won't put in writing, and it's the whole reason to keep this number in your phone. We're family-owned and local, so the call goes to people who live here rather than a national dispatch centre three states away.
To be precise about what 24/7 covers: an active leak or storm emergency gets a response any hour. Estimates, scheduling, and the permanent-repair conversation happen during office hours, Monday to Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM. Nobody needs a quote at 3 AM — they need the water stopped.
We serve Houston and the surrounding metro — Memorial, the Heights, Bellaire, Spring Branch, River Oaks, Katy, Cypress, Spring, Tomball, The Woodlands, Pearland, and Sugar Land.
Call or text (346) 276-6492 — any hour. Say it's an active leak and it goes to the front of the line.

Was your roof in one of these storms?
Enter your address and we'll show you every hail and damaging-wind report NOAA recorded near it since 2019. Knowing the date a storm hit your roof is the single most useful fact in an insurance claim — and this costs you nothing.
Source: NOAA / NCEI Storm Events Database — reports filed by trained spotters, officials and the public. These are reports, not radar coverage: if nothing shows up near you it means nobody filed a report there, not that no hail fell. The only way to know what your roof actually took is to look at it.
Questions, answered
Common questions
Do you really answer 24/7?
Yes. Call or text (346) 276-6492 at any hour — night, Sunday, holidays — and a real person answers, not an answering service. For an active leak or a storm emergency we come out. Estimates and scheduling happen during office hours, Monday to Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM, because nobody needs a roof quote at 3 AM — they need the water stopped.
What should I do if my roof is leaking right now?
Move your belongings out from under the leak, catch the water in buckets, relieve a bulging ceiling with a small drain hole, photograph everything, and stay off the roof. Then call or text us at (346) 276-6492 with photos — we'll get the water stopped and the damage documented.
Is emergency roof tarping covered by insurance?
Often, yes — Texas policies generally require you to prevent further damage after a covered loss, and reasonable temporary repairs like tarping are typically part of a storm claim. Keep receipts and photos. The coverage decision is always your insurer's; thorough documentation is what we contribute to it.
How long can a tarp stay on a roof?
A properly installed tarp can protect a roof for a few weeks to a couple of months — long enough to get the permanent repair or the insurance claim sorted without rushing. It is not a long-term fix: sun and wind break tarps down, so the goal is always a scoped, permanent repair behind it.
Should I call my insurance company or a roofer first?
Stop the damage first — that's what your policy expects, and a roofer can tarp and document the same visit. Having the damage professionally documented before you file gives your claim a stronger, more accurate starting point. Then file with photos in hand. Our how-to-file guide covers the whole sequence.
How much does emergency roof repair cost in Houston?
It depends on the size of the damaged area and what it takes to secure it — a straightforward tarp is far less than a structural dry-in. We tell you the price before we do the work, and if the damage is part of a storm claim, temporary repairs are typically included in what the claim covers.
Can you fix the leak permanently, or just tarp it?
Both — tarping stops the bleeding, then we scope the real fix: a targeted repair where that's the honest answer, or a replacement conversation if the roof is at the end of its life. We're a GAF-Certified contractor and back replacement work with a 10-year workmanship warranty.
